Christmas in the Cave at Historic Cherokee Caverns is a remarkable tradition, one that caters to adventurous folks and Tennessee lovers alike. If you haven't been beneath Ol' Rocky Top, then this experience adds a holiday twist that's bound to leave you in a state of shock and awe.

This year, Christmas in the Cave will be operating and open from December 6th to the 8th, from the 13th to the 15th, and on the 20th and 21st.

You'll have the chance to wander the cave path with your entire family to the tune of festive holiday music. You won't be able to stop smiling as you indulge in the sight of stalactites and stalagmites encrusted with thousands of lights.

There are food trucks and concessions available, and even vendor booths for a bit of post-caving shopping.

Keep an eye out for the Grinch! You may find him running around the cave, trying to sneak into your photographs. Speaking of photographs? You can visit Santa for yourself, with the cave providing an incredible backdrop. There's a fee involved, however, though your photo WILL be taken by a professional photographer.

Keep in mind, there are no advance tickets for sale since the event never sells out. Tickets are available at the on-site ticket booth.

Admission is $10 a person for all folks in your party aged 4 and up. If they're younger than 4? Then they come for free! Parking is also free, and the entire space is accessible.
